So James has been working 6-10 for the last two months or so, which basically means we don't ever get to see each other... So when we found out James didn't work, Thursday-Sunday, and it was spring break for school, we jumped on the idea of a mini vacation! I took some vacation days I had left at work, and we started planning! Thursday..We went shopping for our new house! We got some new pillows for our cute couch (Ill post a picture of that.. when I do a entry on our new condo!) We went to the caucuses and was impressed with the turn out!
Friday we relaxed and hung out ate jaxies for dinner and watched the newest Adam Sandler movie Jack and Jill (which might I add is pg and hilarious...if your into his stuff)
Saturday we went to SLC, went to Golden Corral and stuffed our faces, went to the U2 laser show, and little America Hotel! It was suuuuuper nice. It has, fitness center, indoor/outdoor pool, garden place, steak house and a breakfast buffet you could die for!
Sunday we sinned a little (but I figure.. spending time with FAMILY is what is most important. and we don't plan skip church again for a long time!) and went to work out at the fitness center and swam in the pool, showered and then went to breakfast.. Seriously. I can not stress how good the food was.
We came home later that afternoon crashed and made some yummy home made chili lime chicken with corn on the cob and salad! It was a good day.
After our vacation, we just found out we close on our house this week! (tomorrow-it was supposed to be today, but I guess I didn't confirm a email and so it had to be delayed annnnnyways)

So... See that cute picture of those adorable kittens up at the top??? Those are ours!!!
Ever since James and I found out we were going to be home owners we have wanted kittens! We have searched and searched and searched some more, but March is just not the season for baby... well anything! We seriously have been looking for about 5 weeks now.

Well the day we find out we are going to close, I look on KSL and here are 2 kittens for free posted 1 hour ago! Ironic thing is. I have ALWAYS wanted a orange kitten when I was growing up...but never had one. James on the other hand, had a cat growing up named Ally and she was orange and black. She is still in the family and he thinks she is beautiful. He wanted one like her... What are the chances that we find what we BOTH want in the same litter? They are our destiny kitties! The new arrivals in our family!
I named the orange one Kula. Which means "golden" in Hawaiian. I was going to name her Puma which means "cheetah" in Latin... but Kula sounded more girly and kitty like. Plus it sounded to close to the disney character Pumba!
Kula was in the bathtub(the owner kept her in the bathroom away from the other animals) when I first met her, and she literally jumped out into my arms at first sight! It melted my heart!
James named the black one Tali. At first we thought Raven was a cute name for a black kitty.. but it just didn't fit! Tali is more reserved. Timid Tali, but once shes warmed up... She really such a sweetie.
From what we can tell they both are girls and although they have pretty different personalities... They stick together and good sisters!
Well thats about it. Keep checking back with us... There should be lots of new exciting posts in the upcoming weeks!
