So remember how I said I was baby hungry? Haha My sister in law is naming her baby girl , Lily May....which has always been endearing to me because my ultimate best friend is named Lily ...you guessed it May!!
I've felt determined to find and pick out a name as to not "loose" it to someone else in our family.
I really like the name Lyndi or Adeline, but James doesn't like either. James and I both have agreed that if we have another girl, her name will be: Alexa Jane
Which I think is darling because Olivia and Alexa or Livi and Lexi? Super cute names for sisters. They go so well together. (Though I'm sure it will get confusing when Im calling for them when they are older) Olivia's middle name is Lindsey, after James middle name who was named after his Grandpa. And Alexas middle name would be after mine.
We haven't agreed on boy names. I kind of like the name Owen, and apparently it is a family name..(Owen Kelley which would work because my Dads name was Kelley)..but James isn't sold. That's okay. I'm not sure I love it either.
I don't care what gender we have. I know my heart will love them just as much either way.
I use to be more into exotic names, but lately have been so in love with the classics. I finally get why my Mother in law named her children what she did.
James said something the other day I really liked.... He said, " Seeing children makes me not want more children and want more children all at the same time."
Its the dance of parenthood. They'll throw a tantrum and its the worst, but then moments later you'll pick them up and they'll say they love you.
I don't know when we have more kids, but they should know their parents are anxiously awaiting their arrival and love them already more then words can say.

Tea Party
Okay we really didn't drink tea.... but it did give us a chance to dress up and play in the kitchen. I'm not a professional photographer, but I think it's pretty easy to catch her beauty.
Becoming a mommy's girl.
I feel so fortunate that I had such a long maternity leave. 12 weeks! During that time I just beamed with happiness. It felt so good to rock my baby and be there with her. In June, when I had to return back to work... it felt okay because she was with her dad. I don't think i'd go back and do anything differently because my daughter got off to a wonderful start with her daddy. She was Daddies little girl and she has him wrapped around her finger.
Fast forward to now that I only work 2 days a week. Olivia is my side kick in action. She helps me clean (kinda), She watches me put on make up, and follows me every where. When Im lost in sight she screams "MOM?!" Which we may have to work on our inside voice, but my heart melts in a pool into the carpet every time.
A few weeks back she grabbed my legs and said "I lub you mommy." How can I love this little girl more then I did the day before? I'm not sure, but it happens with each passing moments.
When I want a hug or a kiss.. Ill pretend cry and shell come running to make it "okay". Shell kiss me and hug me. I love that she cares so much.
She says "Honey" and "good girl" to her baby. That makes me feel like I am doing something right as a mom. She loves to mimic and I see her doing stuff every day that I do.
We've been reading scriptures and saying prayers together.. and I really like that. She recognizes the temple, who Jesus is, and will fold her arms when asked to.
She has her naughty moments, but mostly.. she's just a good girl. She wants to do right and inspires me to be so much better. She maybe a mommy's girl, but Im definitely her biggest fan.

Baby Hungry
It seems everyone around me is having babies! Actually it doesn't seem that way. It's a reality. Haha!
My sister in law, my neighbors, ward members, friends afar on my fb news feed, you get the picture.
Don't get me wrong. I'm so happy for them, but it's making me terribly baby hungry. Especially as Olivia is now approaching her 2nd *jaw drops* birthday in March. How can my teeny tiny princess be almost 2 already? It breaks my heart how fast time has gone by!
I really don't know if I'm really ready to venture the path of having 2 kids. That just seems unrealistic right now.
I'm listing these reasons as a reminder to stay strong until we feel the time is right. Oh, and to avoid the whole conversation of "why we haven't had another one yet?". haha! Okay, lets be honest that conversation will still be had.
So here's my list!
My husband JUST got on a set schedule for work and I'm not sure I want to be sick during those months I'm with him.
Olivia is definitely in her terrible 2s and is requiring lots of attention and work. Lots of melt downs! I want to spend a lot of time with her and help her learn to be polite, kind, and that she doesn't get everything she wants. I know she's just a toddler, but already I can see her learning so much and starting to use and abuse her adorable eyes, cheeks, and VOICE, to get what she wants. Oh and we're going to be potty training her! (More on that later)
I'm not ready to give divided attention to 2 children. I want to relish and bask in Olivia a bit longer. I'm loving staying at home with her more and I want to fully live in the moment with her.
James is going back to school. I don't think he'll be finished before we try for another one (maybe?), but it'd be good to at least get him settled in and comfortable as to not overwhelm him.
I'm prone to anxiety. After having Livi, I never had post partum depression, but I did have many bouts of anxious attacks. Some were very intense.
James and I working on our marriage. Not that we are in a bad place, but when you have a child the dynamic changes. There is always room for progression! I want to date my husband and fall back in love. I love him even more then the day I met him, but I think we both deserve a while where our conversations don't consist of poopy diapers, and sleepless nights.
Some may think these are all trivial. I get that, but spiritually I don't think it's right either. I haven't prayed super in depth about it, but I have made it apart of prayer and I haven't felt any huge promptings to go forward with children. Ill continue to go forward in prayer. I think God lets us have agency and I think he understands the reasons we are waiting and is okay with it. We want to create a environment that's in harmony for another family member to join and we're not there yet, but we're working on it!
I don't have a time frame....A year? Two? Three?
But I'm sure Heavenly Father will steer, guide, and direct us when the time is right. I can't wait to meet them!

*Disclaimer* I don't judge or think any less of someone for having their children close together. It's a personal decision and I respect that!

Goals?
I don't have a ton, but the ones I have are very important (IMO).
All my goals revolve around one thing. Taking care of myself. Selfish? Naw, you have to take care of yourself if you expect to take care of anyone else..
Here's the areas I'm focusing on.
*Buying more things for myself. I started doing this a little before Christmas and it's made a world of a difference. This Christmas, I went shopping for myself (haven't done that in MONTHS!!!) , I got my hair done, my teeth whitened, and James got me a massage. I feel so pampered! (Mostly because I have been), but I feel so much happier and able to give of myself now that I have been taken care of. Seriously, I don't think I need a single thing for a long long time.
*Have more girls night out. I always get so nervous to ask James to babysit, but he's more then willing. Im going to ask more.
*Run a race. Start training
*Be more assertive (truthful, but still kind) . My feelings have been hurt a lot and I've let people walk over me. It's time to stand up for myself.
*Read my scriptures every day. I've kind of slacked off on this and suffered from the ripple effects. My days don't go as well. I don't get as much done. I'm less patient and less grateful/happy. I've already started reading again and I can already see the blessings. I'm a much better person when I start my day of with scriptures and prayer! I love the scriptures!
--going along with scripture study I'm going to be keeping a journal with it, and write the thoughts that come to mind as I read. I've never done this before and I'm super excited to see how it goes!
*Complain less. I'm gonna try and do a complain fast. Lets see how long I can go!
*Cook more. I'm mostly doing this for my husband, but it will benefit me too. :)
*Do more adventurous things. Maybe next year Ill actually stay up until Midnight for the new year?
*Go on more dates with my husband (even if it means paying a baby sitter or asking for help)
*Read more books.
* Service. There is one other thing that I already do, but want to keep doing and be even BETTER this year at.. and that is doing kind acts of service. It doesn't have to be big, just a email, a text, a visit, but I want to do it every week. You could say this is for others, but helping always brings me JOY so I'm saying it still falls in the category of me. :)
and that's about it, I don't know what 2016 will bring, there might be some challenges, bumps, or hiccups, but I'm going to rely on the Lord.. I know he will bless us. I know it!

Year Review
Some highlights were:
Olivia turning 1 in March!
Us moving into a house in June.
We paid of our credit cards and our car.
We bought a second car.
James getting promoted and moving to full time status at Nuskin.
I switched departments at work and dropped hours. :)
James getting to start a SET schedule on rotation (they switch every 4 months).
I'm trying to think if there was any type of setback or trial, but I can't think of a single thing. We have been so blessed this year and I thank my Heavenly Father for all that he has granted us.
