1.I need/want FMLA to approve my Maternity Leave. (Yes, I'm still working after I have my baby-but more on that later!) Technically I get 6 weeks off with out, but if I want to take as much as 12 weeks off I have to get it approved first. I don't know how long Ill actually take probably somewhere in between, but it's nice to have that cushion if I need it.
2. I need/want to make sure breast pump is ordered. My insurance (United Health Care) covers 100% for a breast pump. (One plus since Obama has been president I suppose)
3. I need/want to save more money. I've got a few grand saved in our slush fund, but I need to get a few more saved. It will be hard with a lack of income, but I'm confident that if we save enough, we will be just fine.
4. I need/want to get the rest of my baby stuff. :) I've got pretty much all my big stuff. My carseat, stroller, swing, crib, basinet, dresser, baby monitor, baby bath tub all bought. I now just need ton of all the little stuff. I'm sure having a baby shower will help cover a lot of it, but well just have to see! Diapers, Wipes, Lotions, Powers, Soaps, Diaper Bag, Outfits, Headbands, Swaddling blankets, Burp Rags, etc.
I'm grateful for the opportunity of time. As much as I want to meet this little girl who is always kicking me and already keeping me up at night, I guess I am grateful that I still have 8 weeks (give or take) to get all my ducks in a row before she arrives!
