November Thankfuls

Today I am thankful for obedience. I with a full heart truly am. I try to do good and be a good person, but when it comes to my life. I tend to get prideful and think *I* knows whats best me, and while I do a pretty good job, sometimes I get lost, stuck and discouraged . It is then that I realize that I cant do it own my own and I need the guidance of the Lord. Every time I listen I do so much better than if I dont. I am thankful for it becuase I am blessed when I do. When I rely on him , politics and other things dont scare me or put me down. I am comforted. Its wonderful.  -November 8th

Happy Birthday Daddy. I miss you. You use to call me KJ and said I was special because I was your *only* girl. I miss you ! If he were still here here would be 56. Today I'm thankful Fathers, and I'm glad that I was able to have 16 wonderful years with him. -Nov 10th

Today I am thankful for my home. A few months back we went from renting to a mortgage and while it was scary. Ive never looked back. Ive liked and enjoyed other places we live but never have I felt more at home then where I am now. Sometimes a moment in time will freeze and Ill catch glimpses of my future here. Ill be looking down the stairs, or in my kitchen and I just smile. No, its not my dream home. Its attached to another, its a little older and doesnt have a garage but I feel so connected and happy here. Its where James and I are supposed to be and I cant wait to share memories here- Nov 13th

Today im thankful for my health. Last week my body ached of pain, I had a blaring fever, and throbbing migraine. It was torture and I. Never. Get. Sick !! So this came as a surprise. I was out for almost a whole week and now I dont take forgranted even being able To do even the little things like sleep or eat. Im so thankful that I can breathe, jump, run, skip and dance. Surely the body is a incredible gift and I am sooooo grateful that I have it here to transport me through wonderful experience life frequently brings. Yesss please- Nov 14th

Today I am thankful for the weekends. No long explanation. Pretty obvious, after long work days.. Nothing like the weekend to recoup! Even if you are catching up on chores and checking off things on your to do list. I'm grateful for that time ! Especially at the end of the day sitting down in the living room, looking at the vacuumed carpet that will last only a day and relaxing with the hubs! :) We ALL need that. -Nov 17th

Today I am thankful for my husband James. We just had a fun weekend watching skyfall and making home made nachos and I cant think of anyone who I have more fun with then him! Today he told he is going to do his best to get school done as fast as he can (and efficently as he can) and I cant ask for more. Yes sometimes we have different ideas of how things should be but you know what ? We challenge each other intellectually and I appreciate that. We both have been forced to be more willing and accepting towards not just each other, but those around us . Its taught us truly what love actually is and for that Im grateful. I LOVE YOU BABE !-Nov 19th

Wow. Hrm. Trials today. Just found out our second car probably needs repairs. Right before the holidays. *sigh* Im not sure what we are going to do , but today Im thankful for James parents who lent us their car for James to go to work today... Families are the back bone and support we need and sure am thankful for mine.-Nov 20th

Today I am thankful for attitude adjustments. Im thankful for the attitude of gratitude. Sometimes there is nothing we can do but change our perspective, BUT sometimes thats all thats really needed to see the beauty all around. Living in a world and home of thanks makes living all together sooo much better !-Nov 22 (THANKSGIVING DAY)
