Since I don't have as much time as I would like to write out all the fun things I've been up to lately. Here are some pictures to illustrate it better then I could anyways!
| New decor!! Which I loooove! (Don't mind the picture.. I had it on flash so it looks dirty, but its not) I got them at Rod works for like 6 bucks each. NOT BAD. |
| OUT with the old! |
| IN with the new! It's plain but its so much more modern and up to date! The gold HAD to go. |
| Cute new purple clock. Ugly brown shelf OUT! |
| I've been trying to watch our budget. I learned how to save a little bit of money on the grocery bill. BUY IN BULK! See the big bags!! That will last a while. (The kitties were excited about it too! As you can tell) Costco, I can't wait for you to be here!!! |
| New vacuum! When we moved in, I really wanted new carpet. but since we will probably only be living here 5 years max.. it wasn't a smart investment. I got a new vacuum though and its made ALL the difference. |
| After 24 years I learned how to blow dry my hair! Okay, yes I knew how to before, but never took the time to perfect it and learn how to style.. so I just avoided it, but with a little time and practice. I got it down. You do need a little bit of product (but not much, and I don't use anything expensive) I have been trying to grow out my hair and the whole flat iron every other day was just making it a hassle and very unhealthy |
| Heres a picture of how longs its getting. NOT by any means the best picture of myself. But eh. Whatever! You know what I look like! You get the picture. |
| James has been at school, and so I have been a little lonely and a tad bit jealous that hes out discovering the world. So I started watching documentaries on netflix. I learned a lot! I love learning. I really do. I watched this, and it was very interesting. I loooove it! Especially ones about Neuroscience. Ill be watching more documentaries in the future. |
| Also watched this one! |
Lastly, I've found a few bands I really like. Click
HERE and
HERE to listen. Instrumental music is my favorite. I love it because it never gets old. I've listened to a band called E.S. Pothumus (another band that plays instruments) for about 2 years now, and I can still listen to some of the same songs like I had heard them for the first time. Too many times I'll go to the gym, turn on my hip hop (which I do love) and a month later I'm sick of it. The thing is lyrics are great. They remind you something in your life, and whenever you hear the song it gets you amped up about it, but what about when that time of your life is over? Then the music gets a little old. Every time I listen to bands like these... *I* get to choose what the song is about and each time it can mean something different. I know what you're thinking. That I am crazy for liking orchestra music. That's not even what this is. Do you watch epic movies like dark night, or the Lord of the Rings? Yep, its bands like these that come out with the music for those movies. Play games like skyrim? Need some good beats to work out to? Lindsey Stirling DANCES while she plays the violin. So its not just boring music as you may think. Two step from hell is another band I would highly recommend (its more intense and emotion driven) Or groove addicts! I could go on and on! I am in LOOOOVE! Check it out if you want! Or share some if you have any suggestions.. I love all types of music.
I've also found some new recipes (of which I will be sharing soon) and have been staying busy in my new calling of scouts. James has been magnificent and we've really grown closer as we've made more goals for staying out of debt, going to school, starting a family, and I finally feel like things are more attainable now, and that we are on the same page. I miss him a lot when he's at school, but I've kept busy and I'm happy!
