The whole gang at the Nevada Film Festival
Proof that my husband has a sensitive side! (this was taken a while ago. Just had to post it)
James got accepted into YET ANOTHER film festival. See-totally not biased. He's got raw talent! He went on a trip to Cali with two of his friend Omar and Michael C.  I debated about going-but I figured I needed to hold down fort. I didn't want to be a third wheel and this would be a good opportunity for him so I let him solider this one his own! (Plus it I couldn't afford to miss that much work) So off he went for 5 days straight!!! He left Wednesday and came back Monday. He got to go swimming, eat lots of organic yummy food, travel, and watch lots of movies! His favorite! However,  IT WAS BRUTAL !!Well in the sense that I missed him like crazy, but in another way I got to have lots of fun doing girly things.

I got to have drinks with Jessica on Wednesday night and by drink I mean diet coke. lol Thursday I went shopping and relaxed, Friday I took the day off and My mom and brothers came over, and later I went to dinner with Rachelle! Saturday I went shopping and had dinner with Julie, Lacy, and Lily and Sunday I went to the in laws house and visited with Michael Jr for probably a hour and half about his mission and life, and then visited James Grandparents who were in town. It was eventful but relaxing too. On my down time I was able to just sit on the couch and watch pretty little liars. It was a much needed vacation!

Sunday night my heart ached for James, The days were filled with fun and adventure but the nights and my bed were empty and a bit lonely. My heart hurt. I called him, Even just hearing his voice was better then nothing. It killed me that I wouldn't get to to see him until after work on Monday.

When I did get home I took a shower, cleaned the house and got dressed up at exactly 415 James came walking through the door. He ushered me to the bathroom and shut the door. "I've got surprises. Just wait a minute! " I smiled and waited. He opened the door, picked me up (Ya-he's that strong! ) and we kissed. My heart skipped a beat. Oh how I love this boy!

We entered into the bedroom and the room was covered in rose petals! Even the bed! On the bed there were three brown boxes with bows and a dozen roses too! 1 box had a bracelet, another box and perfume, and the last box had my the newest footloose movie! I couldn't believe how generous my husband had been.  We hugged and talked, had dinner and watched a movie. It was the longest time we had ever been apart, but the saying (at least in this case) is true. Absence DOES make the heart grow fonder! (lets hope that's the case when he starts school, and the time we spend together to be quality) *crosses fingers*
