Love Story (Part Two)

So after that night, I decided that I liked hanging out with James, and I wasn't going to shun him out of my life just because he had a girlfriend. He could just be my friend. Having James as a friend was better then not having him at all. I needed him in my life. He made me feel good about myself. Which I really needed at the time. I had some bad ex boy friends and my self esteem was at a ultimate low.

One day we were talking and he mentioned he was going to Lagoon with his Girlfriend and some friends. He told me that I could come if I wanted... I loooooved lagoon and this point I didn't care if his girlfriend was there or not. I wanted to go! So I asked my step dad Cliff, and to my surprise... He said yes! So the next day James picked me up, and he once again complimented me on how I looked. He was so dang nice! I loved it. I met his girlfriend and to be honest.. It was a lot less awkward then I thought it would be. They didn't seem to very physical or connected. In fact.. He seemed more flirty and physical with me, James got pulled over by a cop and got a ticket on the way up and he was pretty upset. I told his girlfriend she should go give him a hug to make him feel better, and she refused. She told me that I could though. So I did! haha. That probably got her mad, but I did get her permission so whatever!

That day turned into a total success for me! James had a cute friend William and I nick named him George, because I could never remember his name. It was totally fun, and I was too distracted with all the rides to be jealous. James seemed to focus a lot on me and kept talking to me right in front of his girlfriend. I felt bad, but at the same time.. I didn't mind. I went home completely satisfied and giddy happy.

So after Lagoon we hung out every once in a while, and every time we did.. There was something there. A feeling. This feeling that made me feel incredibly happy. It's like he saw through me and saw me for who I truly was. I could be myself, and not feel like I was being judged. He looked at me differently, but I liked the way he looked when he looked at me.

One day, he invited me on a date. No. :( not with him. He wanted to double, so he set me up with his Friend Adam. I agreed. If he was anything like James, I was in for a treat. We went and saw some movie, and James and his girlfriend held hands. It was like taking a punch to the gut. Though I still denied that I liked him. I tried to ignore it and pay attention to the guy I was on the date with. He was nice, and I did like him.. but that feeling that I got with James, just wasn't there. The date ended and Adam and I became pretty good friends. In fact... the three of us(Adam James and I) hung out quite a bit. We would go grab pizza and hang out at parks late at night..

One day, I was on MSN messenger like always, and I was talking to Adam. Adam was pretty shy even over messenger.. So it was hard to get too much information out of him about himself or even James but that day.. he said something. "James and ____ broke up"

What? Could it really be? Why was he telling me this? Was this a hint? Was this my chance? So I replied back "We should cheer him up!". and so we convinced James to come hang out. We bought James some food, it was late and we went to a park to just chill. I tried to remain strong and happy for him. I asked if he wanted to talk about it, and we did. We strolled around the park under the stars and we talked for a long time, and I realized even though his relationship with his girl friend wasn't perfect... He really did have feelings for her. *sigh* That night ended on a pretty dim note, but he did give me a hug goodnight. Which gave me a ounce of hope, and thats all I needed.

Over the span of just a couple of weeks, Things changed between James and I. We talked a lot more, and hung out a lot more, and nothing was holding us back. We were free! Flirting was allowed.

One day I was hanging out with my friend Carly, and I was telling her about James, we decided that that she wanted to meet him, and So we met up with at Maceys. We bought some soda, and danced in the parking lot to music. Ya, we were crazy ;). It got kind of late, So Carly decided to go. James and I however, didn't want to leave.. We were having a lot of fun So Biggie, James friend, was nice enough to drive James and I around to just listen to music and talk.

So we were driving, and suddenly James said something clever.. I can't remember what now, and grabbed my hand. Smooth. Very Smooth. He didn't just hold my hand though... It was the most sensual hand hold Ive ever had... he tickled my arm with his finger up and down and we massaged my my palm. Okay. So this guy had experience! He was good, Biggie parked and one point I don't remember how, but James somehow with his expertise pulled gently on my arm and suddenly I was cradled in his arms, He was caressing my hair, and I was looking into his eyes... and I was in awe.... This was one of the most romantic occurences that has ever happened to me,almost TOO romantic to be real! Then before I knew what was happening he gently bent his neck down and we kissed...
