Congrats James!

For those of you who don't know my husband and his love for movies let me give you a little background. From the time he was just a wee little one, he was quoting movies and singing lyrics to everything his parents would let him watch. They soon learned that was how they could bond with their dear little sweet James. Movies! In grade school James interest increased and he decide not to just watch movies but to make them! His friends and family can witness to this.

He made a variety of skits ranging from just hanging out and filming the guys do their thing to the "insatiable hulk".

James during his junior year transferred from Spanish Fork High to East Hollywood High clear in S.L.C. which is over a hour commute every single day for school! That obviously takes, time, money, dedication on his end!

He graduated and then went onto bigger and better things. He's made several short clips some that can be found on youtube.com

He also has done many wedding/engagement/graduation and other projects for friends and family for a fraction of what someone else would charge.

He's been hired on SFCN to do some of their commercials.

Last year he entered into the Freedom Festival Film contest and won first place.. He won not only a cash reward but his patriotic clip was shown in front of THOUSANDS of people at the stadium of fire

And last but certainly not least! That same summer James got funded and made a short clip entitled "The astrological whipping boy". This took a lot of time, and money and we Thank everyone who has helped support James... James submitted this to many festivals, and he was elected to come down to Trail Dance Oklahoma! They are paying for a big majority of airfare, hotel, and other expenses for him and his cast to come.

This alone is a huge accomplishment for someone to complete in such a competitive industry. and Look! James was in the news! We are so proud of James and how far he has come thus far. We don't know what the future has in store. James is going to school for Criminal Law, but we have not ruled out the idea of film and what he is capable of. We look forward to whatever the Lord has in store for James and I's family.

So proud of you honey!

Holy cow!! I had no idea he was so talented with movie production. Congratulations James for sure! I can't wait to read all about his trip. This is BIG... HUGE news! Wow.

I'm going to have to search on YouTube for some of his work. How neat!

So cool, congrats, James!

I always wondered...you seem really animated, and you're very pretty, why are you never in his films? Why don't you ever act? I know I've contacted him before about acting (but I had to flake because of school!), and it's nice to know he's open to letting his friends try it out... why not his wife?

Good Question Keira! Thanks for the compliment... I think the reason I have never wanted to get in front of the camera is because of fear of seeing myself on the screen. I don't know if I would like that or not. Pictures are about as far as I will go...For now anyways. James has asked me before, but I like being able to be part of the audience and enjoy his creations! I am James number one biggest fan and he has my full support. :)
