Early Christmas Gift.

So on Wednesday I had a pretty intense and kind of scary event happen to me. I was at the gym when I started not being able to see. I went partially blind. I could not see the numbers or what level I was on. I blinked and blinked again to see if would go away, but it did not! So I hopped off the arc trainer and headed to my car. I called my husband and let him know I was having the warning signs I usually get before I have a migraine. He asked if I was okay to drive and while I was worried about it, I figured I should probably drive now before things got any worse. I put my husband on speaker phone and started driving. I'll admit this was not the smartest thing to do because the closer I got home I become disoriented and forgot where I was or how to get to my destination! I pulled over said a prayer and somehow... even though I was very dizzy and confused, I was able to find my way safely. I got out of the car, walked into the house and straight for the bathroom to the medicine cabinet. I took some excedrine, dressed in my pjs and waited for whatever next was going to happen. My husband started talking to me and I could not understand what he was saying. I thought maybe someone drugged me. His voice was a echo, I told him I couldn't understand what he said... and as the words were coming out of my mouth it was hard to make out what I was saying too. He gave me a glass of water and I almost dropped it My hands were numb and finally the Migraine came and eventually subsided.

I've had these before, no biggie.. I get them every six months or so. However, something that scares me is that I drove home in that condition.(Yes, that is why I am going to get it checked out)

Anyways!!!!!.. I don't want to scare anyone My REAL reason for this post is to say how I am blessed. How would I be blessed after something so traumatic? Well for one, I made it home safely and I'm alive, and for two I'm thankful for all the love and support I had from everyone.

I had texts and messages on facebook and everyone was just sooooo informative and supportive.

Seriously... for something so minor I am so lucky to have a great family who loves me. The day I had my Migraine I called my Mom and she was worried sick! She probably called me 5 times that day just to check up on me and today My little brother Kc drove my Mom, Kyler, and Shareen out to come visit me even though I'm just fiiiiine.

I really don't get to see my Family as much as I want or should, and it was a Merry Christmas early to ME to have them drive out just to visit!

Which is exactly what we did. I showed them our pet hamster Izzy, we sat on the couch and chit chatted and talked, we watched a Reba (one of my favorite shows) Christmas Episode :Cookies for Santa! We laughed, and took some silly pictures! This was the highlight of my day. James has school and works late tonight. I would have been all alone! I'm so thankful for a loving family who cares for me and for this time of the year when others truly give and help those in need!!!
The Hansen Gang! Kyler, Mwah and K.C.

It's a nice and snug on the couch! Just the way we like it

This guy is a stud and taller then the Christmas Tree. Ha! He drove the whole fam out!

We kind of have a unspoken bond. We're really good friends! Love you KC!!!! Kyler is the class clown...Obviously

Thanks Guys! I had a blast! I could not have asked for anything more. Merry Christmas early to me!
