*My gfs and I all went out to Coldstone and it was a blast from the past!!! I think this is a big holiday based on families as should be, but I think its great to reconnect with friends because all that stress adds up, and friends just have a way making you laugh and melting all that worry away.... At least my friends do!
Month of December-Ever since we've got engaged.. we always go for drive and look at Salem Pond lights. There are plenty of lights to choose from, but these are my favorite and holds a very special place in my heart. They really do and they probably always will. So many good memories.
Christmas Eve- We open one present that night (They are always Jammies)
Christmas Day-Wake up early and open presents
Christmas Day-Stockings last. (We always get chocolate.. and lots of treats)
Christmas Day-We always take sometime to reflect and talk about Christ.
Christmas Day- We generally will go see a movie in the theater.
Christmas Day-Go to Grandmas and have dessert and open the cousin presents. (this is a huge get together with the whole fam)
Christmas Day-We come back home and make big huge Mexican Dinner ! (James and I love us some good Mexican food)
Christmas Night: Snuggling and talking about the day. This is probably my favorite part of the day. Just basking and reminiscing in the joys that this wonderful holiday season brings. :)

For a few years while Evan's parents lived in Hawaii we would go see a movie in the theater on Christmas too! They've been home for a few years now and the family has been changed and evolving so much we haven't been able to. But I hope to fit that back in somewhere. Maybe when I have a bigger family of my own.
