Thankful for "Tender Mercies"

This November, I am thankful for many things... family, friends, courage, and as I lay in bed last night relaying the upcoming events/holidays and I feel extremely fortunate that things have came together just how they were supposed to.

It reminds me of talk given by David A Bednar: The Tender Mercies of the Lord.

I have experienced his tender mercies, and here just some that have come to my mind:

* I'm thankful for our new apartment.I know its been a while since we have moved, but I am still extremely grateful for the new change. It's so well lit-everything is bright(---> This girl needs light<---even if its artificial) and during the winter time, it keeps me much happier then our last dim lit apartment. The first two years living in Spanish Fork I suffered a lot with depression in the winter! Not fun! Moving was needed. The freshly painted white walls, and bright lights have helped significantly.

Going along with that we bought a new car from our friends Adam and Julie (which we ALSO are so thankful for) and now we have a car port to cover it. No more shoveling off snow!!! :D

* I'm thankful for James new job, and for his work schedule. We only have one car, and they offered him the EXACT same work schedule as me (except he has Friday off, and works Saturdays) <---That works out pretty well considering, don't cha think ;) ! He also has a cafeteria that he gets to eat lunch at! Some of you may not know how much joy this brings me... but thats okay! So thankful I don't have to spend money on lunch and worry if he will like it

3. I'm thankful for meeting friends just at the right time who have the same weaknesses as I, and who can help each other work on them.

* Although it was a huuuge challenge that was prolonged for several months, I'm thankful for how things worked out on our financial situation with school. We have little debt there. (If any) :)

* I'm thankful that this year, I get to spend time with BOTH families on the holidays .. with out worrying about how we are going to divide our time.

*I'm thankful for my job that they allow vacation and personal days, and that I have just enough left to use for family parties. :) until the new year comes around.

No, of course things are not always perfect, but things have always somehow, someway worked themselves out and fallen right into place the way they should be.

These were not coincidences, the timing was just too perfect. The Savior has sent me a personal message of peace and comfort that he is there and helping me and knows even the small things that weigh my mind.

This November I am soooooo thankful for things working out and falling into place. I am thankful for the Tender Mercies that have blessed my life.

I am so glad that things have worked out well for you guys! It is the month to be Thankful and to thank the lord for all of our blessings. (Which we should constantly thank him---we are given so much and take so much for granted)
