*Morris Memories*: Twas the Night before Christmas And The Day Of.

Christmas Eve was a hectic, busy, eventful and wonderful day! We went to a amazing art museum, went to Golden Coral, The Morris Children acted out the Nativity story, and we opened Presents. It was super fun. My favorite part was probably pigging out at the buffet! Susan and Michael were surprised I really did chow down.

Later that night we came home... and James and Michael (James little brother) went out and did there mischief while i stuffed the stockings and cleaned up. Then we got in our Pjs (THANKS Grandma! for the jammies! ) and ZZZZZ until 930 (talk about sleeping in.. especially for me! It was fantastic!)

We opened our presents. James got me I camera bag for my camera, a heater, a Ipod, Beyonce cd, the movie lovely bones, chocolate and Jewelry box! He done good!

Unfortunately this story does have quite a bit of sad part. I got James the movie Grand Trino, the game las vegas fall out, a huge kit kat, a slide show of us with music and the works. (its pretty cute. I posted it on facebook.. but for whatever reason it has not let me upload it on blogger) and a desk for his office. James was so excited and happy! He started putting together his desk, when we realized what was supposed to be a desk, was only one part of desk :( :( :( :( this made me very sad. I cried. I tried really hard to get something James could use but also like. This is now the second time I will have to go back and return it. But whats done is done.. we will go back and get another one. James was a good sport about it too. He was all smiles and super sweet!

We went to My Grammi's For lunch and saw my parents and cousins. It was fun. We exchanged gifts and my mom made the sweetest thing for me. She made me a blanket.. Its pink and super cute! Many Many hours went into it, and on the corner is says "made with love, from Mom 2010" Thanks Mom!

After that we went and saw my other Grandma Shirley and Uncle Kirk and visited. They are so cute. We sat in a circle and told stories. James and I had to leave a little early cuz we had planned on going to see a movie. So we left and headed to the Mall. We went and saw How do you know? There were a lot of people there. Christmas is quite the busy day to go see a movie!

Finally we got home and we had ordered HOME MADE TAMALES, for us, all we had to do was steam them for a few minutes. We made some Spanish Rice, chips and salsa! The Tamales were excellent, They were so soft and delish!

And to Top off a perfect day, you cant forget dessert! Maglebys chocolate cake (I havent had this in over 6 months) .....It was just as good as I had remembered!
