9 months old and Christmas Morning

You've GOT to watch this video above. It's SOOOOO CUTE!

Olivia turned 9 months on Christmas Day. What a special day for so many reasons. This year it was magical. I have never ever EVER really enjoyed the cold winter season or the festivities surrounding it, but there is something about having children that makes it so magical. I haven't felt like that since ...well when I was a child myself!

James and I got to live vicariously through our daughters eyes and she didn't disappoint. Not that she could, but I wasn't sure with how much she'd understand or get excited.  Oh how she enjoyed it! If you watch the youtube video (its the FIRST one) where she opens her first gift you can tell she TOTALLY smiles when she sees whats inside. She liked the wrapping paper and she got a kick out of all her toys.

She made out like a bandit and got more spoiled then I care to admit. I should have realized she was going to get presents from Grandma and Grandpa from both sides plus cousins. In any case... she hasn't been bored and she's really developing and learning rapidly now.

She can wave "hi" (The last youtube video.

She knows how how to say mama.

She stands up all the time.

She cruising.

She's learning to use her walker.

She's learning different tones and likes to be noisy and loud.

She's in 12 month clothes (they are a little bit big)

She's over 20 pounds.

She's got 2 bottom teeth.

She's sleeping really well and has a really good schedule now.

She's started getting a little more stranger shy.

She's a daddies girl

and that's about all I can think of right now.

She's gotten super fun... and that's saying something because she's always been happy and good good baby. She's growing up and while I'm a little sad, I'm mostly beaming and so incredibly proud of that little girl and who she is.

She is is our sunshine baby. We are so blessed.
