7 Months

This girl is 7 months TODAY. She's freakin hilarious ,a doll, and has a smile that can melt anyone. Don't let her looks deceive you though. She can be a little stinker. This stage has been the hardest for me yet. Ill explain in a minute why. Then again, it has gotten a lot of fun too! Look at that face!!! How could it not be?

First here is  some milestones!
She's crawling
She's Talking (babbling mostly, but she totally thinks she talking to us. She'll have complete conversations just going mamamamama babababa and and I just go "oh yeah? That's so neat!") She also has said things that sounds close to Mama, or Mom.. but I'm not sure she really knows what she's saying, but we've def been practicing with her. So who knows! Maybe she does.
She's eating solids
She sleeps in her crib and is getting into a better nap schedule.
She loves daddy. She likes mommy too, but lately she can't get enough of him.
Loves being introduced to new things, especially things that crinkle or make interesting noises.
Starting to snuggle more
Is getting her bottom front teeth.

Going back to why this stage has been difficult it's because she's really become more self aware and is starting to test boundaries and she realizes that crying, pouting, etc will get a reaction from us. I'm not sure how to go about this. She's just a baby and everything she does is just innocent but I also want to help her realize what's acceptable and what's not. Thinking about reading a book or something.

She's also becoming more mobile (crawling) and it's been difficult because we can't keep our eyes off her. Gone are the days when we could just strap her in her bouncer and she'd be content for long periods of time. She LOVES to turn the xbox on and off. She loves getting into the dvds. Pretty much anything that makes a mess.

I think another reason she's been a fuss bucket is because she's teething. I don't know HOW many times I've said this, but this time FOR REALS. lol . She drools, sucks on her bink like it's crack, and I can feel them coming in. Plus when I give her hylands homeopathic teething tablets she magically sleeps better. So that's gotta count for something right??

Anyway. Enough about that.  She's super fun too. She really is though. One of my favorite things to do is kiss her cheeks or go get her out of her bed in the morning. I love making her laugh and obviously if you've seen her smile you pretty much become addicted and will do nearly anything to make it appear. Even doing things that make you look super silly, but then again I guess that's the point.

As you can tell I'm kind of obsessed with taking pictures and videos. James asked what we do for fun the other day and the truth is we go for walks, we play with toys, we have a bath (or rather just her), we read books, we dance, and part of our daily activities is dressing her up and taking pictures. I just can't help it. She's so cute and I love capturing these moments with her. I hope that as she gets older and sees how much we documented her life she will realize just how much we love her.

Because we do. We love you Olivia Lindsey!
