I went to the doctor on Monday Feb 24th. They tested be for Strep B (ill get the results next week). Dr Skinner observed or thinks baby has dropped and measured that I am 1.5 dilated and 70% effaced.
WHAT THE?
He told me it was no real indicator of when I will go into labor. Some women are at a 0 at 40 weeks, and other people are at 3 or a 4 for several weeks. Each woman is different and he didn't seem concerned.
This totally freaked me out though as I was NOT expecting that. I haven't had any real contractions, which is a relief.. but I've got to get my rear in gear!
I thought maybe I'd have 4 more weeks, and now I'm thinking that I might realistically have only one or two.
Things I still need/want to do
Go to Walmart and take back a few returns. (Today)
Get my hair done (Thursday/Tomorrow)
Get my Diaper Bag (Thursday/Tomorrow)
Go shopping with my mom (Friday)

Get and assemble my Rocking Glider. (March 4th)
Make sure that my Breast Pump has been ordered and will be delivered (Call sometime this week)
Emily Baby Shower (March 8th)
Get my 100 Visa Gift card (I earned from work) -Order a Baby Bouncer, nursing bras, and sweats with it. (at latest should be here by March 10th)
Pack my hospital bag (Probably sometime this week)
I feel things are falling into place, but I worry they aren't fast enough. lol I'm kind of a over achiever though and like to feel "over" prepared as opposed to "under" prepared.
Honestly, as long as my baby is healthy and happy--that's all that matters. If she is anything like her Daddy, she'll come when she is good and ready and not on anyone elses terms. Which is okay with me. I admire that about her dad.
