I ordered this beauty online today. James and I have not set ANYTHING up. So I just post pictures that are online to get me excited, until that wonderful day when I actually start preparing for a nursery. It's currently a office, so we haven't really gotten to far with it yet. (But hopefully will soon)
Since I've been pregnant I've been a constant hypochondriac. After having a miscarriage, I think that just kind of happens to mothers. I knew pretty early on that the first few months I wanted our baby to sleep in our room. That way I can be as ocd as I want and check on her as much as I want during the night. Plus it will make breast feeding super easy. Just sit on the side of the bed and pop a boob out and boom put baby back in bed. Not that going to the nursery-a whole whopping 3 feet would be much of a difference, but I don't like the idea of a wall separating us. Who knows I think it will be a really good bonding experience as well.
It's only designed for a infant around 15 pounds, so I don't plan to use it for a long long time, but long enough that I think Ill start getting the hang of everything and being a mom by then. Exciting times!!
