Once again I can't commit to saying these are my ultimate favorite movies of all time.. but they def make the list!
I'm not a big fan of ushy gushy romance movies but oh how this one just melts me. I like it for soooo many reasons aside from the obvious well written and well acted film. I like that Sandra Bullocks character and her story. She has hopes, dreams, expectations, and plans for her future, and God has a sense of humor that way. Thing's don't always go the way you anticipate, but when one door closes, another opens and she truly gets the happy ending she deserved. Another reason I really enjoyed it is because I can relate. I can relate to "Lucie" because she's lost a parent, and she gets introduced to a new family and things get preeeeetty crazy, but she falls in love with them. The interesting thing too is that I think it portrays that no family is perfect and it takes work to work on those relationships, but once they are built. They can be lasting. I also like the character "Sal". He's not a blood relative, but it just shows that friends ARE family and youll do anything for them. Besides, being a romance -this is highly comedic and has so much heart! Ohhh, how I love this movie!"Have you ever wondered if there is more to life then being really really good looking?" Well this show you that there is actually more to it then that! ;) This show is pretty pathetic in a lot of ways. It's not the cleanest movie, and it's got some definite flaws, but it's probably got the best and most hilarious dialogue I've ever heard. SOOOO funny! OMG! The characters are outrageous and ridiculous and it's got so many one liners. I laughed until I cried and until my stomach hurt. It's very light, fluffy, and just a real feel good movie. It even has a happy ending with some heart for "children who can't read good and what to other stuff good too". This def is a guilty pleasure.
What can I say about this movie that hasn't already been said? When James and I rented this movie, I didn't have that high of expectations. All i heard was that it was really cute and funny. I don't love animated movies that much, but I was willing to give it a try. As soon as I heard Steve Carells voice, I smiled! I LOVE Steve Carrel, and he did such a excellent job for doing the voice in this movie. This film also has some very good one liners. "Its so fluffy I'm gonna die!" and I felt like they did a great job of making this for adults and children a like. I love how these little girls change this mans heart and ya. Basically just a really cute show.
