Proud to be a American

There are many other great and wonderful and countries all over the world. I will be the first to admit that, and hopefully one day I can travel and explore it further. God created the EARTH, (not just one country). However, I do take pride in where I was born and raised. It's a great place to be, and I love LIVING here!

Now is the time for elections, and we as Americans get the wonderful opportunity to tune into politics and vote for our President.

I was sad that Ron Paul (my first choice candidate) wasn't Republican nominee. Oh well, thats okay! Life goes on. Mitt Romney is the Republican candidate (which in case you are wondering, I took a test and my results were :Libertarian. So I don't try not to favor one side or the other, at least not too drastically.  I think both parties have their pro and cons)None the less, I was curious as to what kind of guy he this Mitt was/is. I did my research, conversed and formed my own theories. I can't say that we see eye to eye on everything, but after watching the debate on Wednesday I couldn't have been more shocked!

Finally someone who stood his ground and listed the facts and didn't back down! He looked Obama straight in the eye. He was very respectful, but he made his points. My favorite part however was when Mitt closed his remarks on the constitution.  I thought that was so fantastic! I am so amped for the next debates and I very curious as to what will happen, either way I feel so privilege to get to watch, and learn and choose for myself!

Yes, I am proud to be a American!
