I know it has been a while since I have written you a letter, but I felt that Valentines day would be a good day to start up again.

I just wanted to remind you how much I truly do love and adore you. I can honestly say I have never met a girl who is more caring and more perfect than you. Every day I get so excited to see you, and every day I cant wait just sit down and talk to you, and on the weekends I can’t wait to spend it with you.

We have stood together through all our fights, all our troubles, and of course, all our good times! I really could not ask for a prettier girl, a sweeter wife, or a better friend. I know we don’t always get along, but even when we disagree on something, you always have a valid reason and you always do what you think is right. That is a trait I hope you always keep. I have dated many girls who are as shallow as a wading pool, and none of them could ever compare to your sincerity and devotion.

I know there are times you get down on yourself, and it really is hard for me to watch. You seem to forget all the good qualities that made me fall in love with you in the first place. That’s not to say that your desire to improve is not one of those qualities, but if you could see yourself the way I see you, I promise that you would never feel self-conscious again. You really are a head turner! Everywhere we go I see people turn to look at you as we walk by. It gives me a sense of pride, but also reminds me the importance of being humble and grateful that someone like you could ever want to be married to someone like me.

We have been married almost five years! That is such a long time when you think about it, but it really has flown by! And there is no one else I would rather spend those five years with than you. Marriage has been hard, but it has also been so rewarding. The friendship we have forged through all our misadventures has really been the backbone of my entire life. I cannot begin to describe the feeling of peace that comes with having a wife who loves the way you do, lives the way you do, and who is always there to help and support me, regardless of the circumstances.

So I just want you to always remember that I love you, Kira. I love you more than you will ever be able to comprehend, and I just want you to know that just like you have always been there for me, I will always be there for you.

There are many big things on our horizon! A house, a college degree, a family… and I really want to experience everything that life has to offer with you by my side. Just remember that everything I do really is to benefit us and our future together. I want to get a degree so I can support you, I want to get into film so I can have enough money to take care of you, I want to get a house because I know how happy it would make you feel.
