V day Happenings.

Friday-James and I always celebrate the Friday before Valentines day becuase Valentines Day is just WAY too crazy and busy to go out to eat! So on Friday we decided we would go to Red Iguana.
Before we made our Journey to SLC, we decided we had some time to kill, So we stopped by my Moms house, and visited the Fam. They recently got a new little dog, and so of course, thats whats my brothers and sisters wanted to show us! He was sooo cute! I wish I would have brought my Camera. He tried to do some tricks, and he REALLY loved Larissa. It was interesting to see that ANIMALS really do have personalities and quirks. I have to say, I REALLY enjoyed going to see my family this time. We all just laughed ! My family is really laugh-y. ESPECIALLY since my mom has got remarried and has 4 more giggly WILD children. he he he. It was super fun, thats all I have to say.
Because we had dinner reservations we couldn't stay TOO long, so we left, and James started to not feel so hot. I asked him if he still wanted to go and he said yes, so we just bought him some Vitamin C tablets at the gas station and hoped that would help jump start his immune system.
We got to the place right at 6, which is impeccable timing to eat there,  if you go any later, you will be in for a wait! We only waited probably 15 minutes.. which gave us time to hold hands and be sweet. :) I noticed James was not very talkative, but I just shrugged it off.  The waitress took us to our table which was awesome! It was right in the corner, and very private and secluded! Perfect! We ordered our famous Chips and Salsa, and then I got the combo plate! James got the mole covered enchiladas, and they looked like dynamite! (I may have to order that next time) Anyways, James and I held hands and talked, but he still was not very talkative, and I noticed he was hardly touching his meal, thats when i knew something was up. I asked him what was wrong, and he told me he wasn't feeling good. :( :( :( I was a little disheartened but he still was super sweet and we had a great time eating and spending time together, as we left James said he didn't really feel up to going to see a movie. So we headed home, it was a long ride home, but I have to admit even though we only did dinner, it was still nice to get out. When we got home James got really really sick, so we both took a bath and went to bed.

Saturday- I woke up and went to the gym, I finally got to see Lily who had taken the week off to recover from her injury. Julie came too, and it was nice to catch up and visit with two of my favorite ladies in the whole wide world! When I got home, I kicked in to super woman gear and I mopped the floor, did the dishes, washed our sheets and covers, and regular laundry, vacuumed, and straightened up. I went to my In laws house and printed off my Visiting Teaching message, doctor forms, and had Michael James dad help me fill out insurance forms. (our work changed providers) Then I went to the grocery store and loaded up on cough drops, gingerale, lysol, chicken noodle soup, and multi grain saltines. I got home at around 2 had lunch, only to find James was still asleep, and had nothing to eat! So i fixed him some soup, and he pretty much slept all day. Needless to say, he missed his class.

Sunday- James was still not feeling very well, so we didn't make it to church (nor did he go to work) He was pretty solemn, but he stayed awake, so at least I had some company. That night I made Salmon all myself (with out James) and I was little sad James didn't have a appetite to taste my awesome meal, but thats okay. Later that night I had Hershey cream pie!
Monday- I woke up and knew James was still going to be sick and not up for much, so I ate some Hershey Cream pie for breakfast :)  Generally i would never do that, but it was worth it today! I went to work, handed in my insurance papers, and at lunch time i got a surprise text from my good friend Danielle! SHE WAS IN TOWN, and she was coming to see me! It was awesome. She came to my work and we gabbed and laughed and talked! It totally made my day! Then I came home, and James came home told me he had got me a present for v day but it probably wouldn't get here till Tuesday. So we watched movies together and fell asleep.

It may not sound like the BEST valentines day ever, but... I actually enjoyed taking care of my husband and just relaxing. I love you James! Get feeling better.

I didnt take any pictures....I didnt have my camera but in the spirit of V day, heres a picture of some hot babes blowing you a kiss! Hope you guys had a good one!
