one week left!

Friday-James and I went to texas Roadhouse for dinner. We needed to get a gift card for someone, and since they just put one in Orem, we decided. Hey! Why not?! We got there at 6 and.. The wait was 90 + minutes. Oh. My. Gosh. Guess its pretty popular. We went to mall, and browsed. James was super hungry so we decided to buy some home made chocolates at the mall. I got peanut butter and chocolate. He got mint. They were so good! After about a hour we decided to head back to the steak house. We still had quite a bit of time (kind of annoying. But it was good to get out and be on a date with my honey) It didn't seem like they were ever going to call our name when finally a waitress asked "Does anyone want to sit at the bar? We have two empty seats." James and I were starving so we decided it would be worth it. We got at the bar, and It was fun! They had the people serving food dancing, and singing. We could see this big huge screen TV. I didnt mind sitting at the bar at all! James and I ordered the baby blossom while we were waiting. IT was soo good! We just talked and hung out. James of course ordered a huge steak and I ordered ribs! It was tasty! It was fun to try something different and new!

Saturday-We delivered our secret santa gifts! It was sooooo fun! I think the true spirit of Christmas is giving. James and I have a roof over head, food in the fridge, and good jobs. Not everyone is as fortunate. The least we can do is try to pay it forward.

We also built our ginger bread house. I ate a lot of frosting and gum drops. Man i have such a sweet tooth. After that James and I went to go see Salem pond lights. It was soo pretty. It has a special place in my heart. Thats where James and I had our first Christmas. (We opened our gifts there that year)  This year we drove and round, listening to music, and holding hands. I will never get bored with my husband!

Sunday- James got to go to church with me (for those of you who don't know.. James has to work on sundays.. This was probably the best Christmas gift i could have asked for! ) He looks so good dressed up. His mom got him a christmas tie, and I told him he had to wear it. So he did! We had the most wonderful program and the spirit was really there. I could tell James was really touched. Please pray that he can get Sundays off soon.

Only one more week till Christmas. I am so excited!

Heres some pictures.
