*hard work*

Man, oh man. Life can kick you down in the dust sometimes cant it? You think you got it all figured out...and The old and the wise just chuckle and smile, cuz they know its going to take a LOOOOOOOONG time till you really got it down. I'm not saying my life is not great. That would be lie! My life is GREAT! It truly is. I am so blessed and happy to be me. I dont want to be anyone else.

But lets be honest we all have things we can work on:
For me, Its trying to keep a balance. There are a lot of balls to juggle. I want spend enough time on each part of my life, My husband, my testimony, my education, my health, my house, my friends, my family, my fitness. It seems like just when i start to get good at one aspect in my life, I realize I've been neglecting another. This frustrates me to the point of exhaustion. So many things to do.

I have been thinking about conference and how we need to take time for the things that really matter. Sometimes i wont get to go tanning, or do the dishes, but if i make time to fix dinner for my husband, Or call my mom on the phone. That is what matters.

I am not perfect. Ill say it again, I am not perfect. I try to be, but the more perfect i try to be, the more distracted I become on the "things" i "think" will make me perfect. Being the perfect friend does not mean you have 200 friends on facebook. Being the perfect wife does not mean you will always look great. Being the perfect Mom does not mean the house will always be clean. The Savior was perfect however. And yet he was hated. He took time for others, and ALWAYS showed and expressed his love. I think thats what life is about. Love. Learning how to express it. Learning how to be patient. --that one is hard. Learning how to put others before yourself. This one is hard one too. Learning to serve. I think if we learn how to love,  Our lives our blessed, and we actually take time to see how beautiful this world is. If we are too busy, we can stop and appreciate what we have. "There is beauty all around when there's love at home" Love is a great gift. Its hard work. Its not easy, But its doable. :) We can start today. I will.

Thanks, I needed this. You are always putting up posts that are so uplifting and make my day.

I'm so sad! I wish I could go out with you girlies on Saturday, but I will be at the football game. I would have LOVED to at least have Cafe Rio with you. Count me in for next time.

President Uchtdorf's talk about simplifying to the most important things really reached a lot of people! I'm one of them. :] I've been doing better at a snails pace, but better! You're so right. It is hard work!
