Temple

Last Saturday was a very special day for me. It was the day My brother got his endowments out to go to the temple. Now of course this event would be special no matter what, but you have to understand my brother and our family to know glorious of a day this was.

Ill start off by saying, Kc--my brother is the sweetest boy you will ever meet. He has been since birth. He would never hurt a fly. Hes very soft spoken i don't think he has ever yelled in his life (much like my mom) Anyways, growing up, My dad would always tell us kids during family night and other events how he wanted his sons to serve a Mission. He said it was the best part of his life, and nothing would make him prouder. I recall him saying this time and time again. After my dad died from a decease called my-tonic dystrophy and a fall down the stairs, My brothers (KC and Kyler) were left with a even greater desire to go on Missions and Make my father proud. A couple years ago, our family found out that KC had the same dystrophy as well as many heart problems. He had to get pace maker put in, and has struggled quite a bit. We didn't think his dream of serving a mission was possible because of his now current health problems. That didn't stop KC. He still wanted to serve! So he talked to the bishop and after much prayer, and counsel. He decided to fulfill his goal. He was going to serve. The bishop, KC and our family decided it would be best to serve locally.. because of his health where he could still live at home, but still be able to Help and make a small contribution.

When the day finally came to go go the temple, it was a beautiful day--much like how i felt inside. It was so great to see everyone, and to see there support. I was so proud of my brave little brother who decided to make a hard but very courageous choice., and I know my dad IS and will be happy!
